It seems to me that a kashrus agency has exactly one job: to certify, according to their standards, that a product is kosher. The politics of a situation is not a consideration. In other words, the certifying agency has no dog in this fight. Also, I think that taking political considerations into account is setting a bad precedent and puts us on a road that only leads us off a cliff.
